Back & Forward

Lila + Sofia are an ATX based sing-songwriter duo.  As sisters, musicians, best friends (most times)  they have been harnessing the power of harmony, memories, and pandemic adolescence into poetry and song together since they were 12-years old. 

Taking cues from indi pop, classic jazz, west coast surf rock, and 80’s synth, they blend harmony with story-telling on their 2022 EP release, Ok Then.  Lila Jean (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Piano) + Sofia Josephine (Cello, Bass, Vocals) enjoy experimenting, combining 50’s era string symphony with 70’s era surf rock to create sounds that both harken back and leap forward.  The resulting soundscape is both unique and unexpected, evoking both “throwback” sensibilities with modern vibes.
